Free Music Notes for Golden Classics Edition: Today/Ramblin'Free Music Review: Poor quality control Hit: 2 StarsReceived disk in record time. Everything went well until last song. Half way through This Land Is Your Land disk sounded garbled and stopped. I tried two different players with the same result. I would not recomend buying this disk.
Free Music Review: Ahhh, the Memories! Hit: 5 StarsThis is a new "record" compilation on one CD. The sound is great and the content is excellent. What a wonderful memory to have again in my music collection. Part of this collection is from an old Glen Ford Western (Advance to the Rear) that cannot be seen anymore, but the music is fun, rollicking and happy.
Free Music Review: Some of the best of history Hit: 5 StarsI could not have been happier when I popped the CD into the player and the wonderful sounds of the New Christy Minstrels came marching out. The sound is so much better than we used to get on the old 33's.
"Today" both versions, and my favorite on the album, sounds sweeter, clearer and more penetratingly emotional than the original.. It's a real must buy for anyone who enjoys this type of music
Free Music Review: aahhhh what nostalgic breeze! Hit: 5 StarsBefore there was acid rock, hippies, and the social reform we so desperately needed, the early sixties had this beautiful "folk rock" sound from the New Christy Minstrels. I love these beautiful voices and sounds that spun off groups such as the "Association" and more wonderful sounds into the mid-sixties. If you were growing up during this time, and love all kinds of music, take an easy breezy break from your corporate slavery and go back in time. Enjoy!
Free Music Review: Golden Classics Edition: Hit: 2 StarsThey need an age tune up so they can sing again poor stuff as far as quality!!
