This one of the best soundtracks i`ve ever heard in my life. And I only listen to movie music so this was fun for me.
Danny Elfamn is after my epinion one of the best composers known today, like John Williams Danny Elfamn always gest good movies to work with and I think he realy shows it in this one. All the song are great, the tekst, the vocal and the movie it self is defenatly worth your manny. The songs are so good taht you can sing on them all day without stopping.

If you haven't heard Elfman's Nightmare Before Christmas score, you are really missing out. This is one of the all time best movie scores ever. Danny Elfman is an orchestral genius! Every one of his scores that I have heard, from Edward Scissorhands to Corpse Bride, are all smash hits. I love all of his work. This soundtrack is one of the few child-friendly, yet still adult entertaining soundtracks out there today. It is a hilarious and original score that is sure to please any audience of any age! (Just make sure they've seen the movie first before you get them the soundtrack becasue it can be quite confusing if you haven't!)
I highly reccomend it for christmas or b-day gifts for any kid along the ages of 3-9 years old. Or to just any TIME BURTON FREAK!

This soundtrack is the perfect example of the incredible things that two great minds can accomplish together. Producer Tim Burton, working with composer Danny Elfman, created the dark-yet-hopeful "The Nightmare Before Christmas," which uses Halloween imagery to contrast the creepy abode of Jack Skellington (the Pumpkin King) with that of the denizens of Christmas Town.
Elfman's score does an amazing job of bringing the kooky characters in this film -- Jack, Sally, Doctor Finklestein, Oogie Boogie, and the mayor, just to name a few! -- to life. Dead as they may be, the residents of Halloween Town are good at celebrating only a single holiday each year, so you can imagine the mayhem that ensues when the Pumpkin King himself decides to take on the task of spreading Christmas cheer. A few scientific experiments and one kidnapped Sandy Claws later, you realize what wholesome fun this film is.
Elfman couldn't be more in his element here. His ditties are fun and exciting, and he even belts out the singing voice of Jack Skellington himself! The combination of jazzy lyrics and spooky ambience make this film a true classic. The soundtrack is darkly original, fun, and deliciously creepy. CORPSE BRIDE, now available, is recommended viewing and listening if you enjoy this stop-motion animated film! Very highly recommended.
