Free Music Review: Great album for bluegrass novices and hard core fans

This album is great from the very first note right through to the finish. The session musicians that cover the fiddle, mandolin, dobro, and banjo pickin' are out of this world. The singing from the guest artists (esp.Paulette Carlson from Hiway 101, Emmylou, a coupla Byrds, John Denver, Levon Helm, John Prine are all highlights) with harmonies from the NGDB are super. If you only own one bluegrass album in your life, this is the one to get. But more likely, you'll hear artists like John Hiatt, Carlson, MM Murphy and others and pick up some of their works as well.
