I just saw the movie tonight and cried....it was the best movie since A Walk To Remember...Nicholas Sparks has what it takes! :) The song that you are looking for is by Nina Gordon called "Tonight and the Rest of My Life"- GREAT song by the way! But i'm not sure if it is on the soundtrack or not- good luck with that though! Hopefully who ever is searching for that will come back to this site and see that- post another note to let me know you saw it. And for those who have not seen the movie- GO AND SEE IT! Earlier someone said that the piece Allie plays is called Chopsticks. But it's not. What she really plays is Prelude Op. 28, No. 4 by Chopin. I only know this because I had played this prior to the movie coming out and recognized it. Allie said that she can't even play chopsticks when Noah was kissing her. Chopsticks is a really simple song that little kids learn when they first start learning piano. So, she can't even do the simplest things around him. The movie was so cute and loving that the soundtrack is amazing and a great transport the era.Free Music Review: Touching

There isn't much I can say about this beautiful movie, except that it was so touching!
It say's go for the "true love", settle for nothing else no matter what may be in store, because love that is "true" and as beautiful as their's was, is a rare thing!
I absolutely loved the ending.
I also loved that a movie CAN be truly wonderful, beautiful and touching WITHOUT grafic "sex scenes!" Also sadly a rare thing in movies today.
Ever seen "Hanover Street?" Equally beautiful. No SEX scenes either!

The title of the review says it all. This is a beautiful and heartbreaking album that brings to mind the thematic tendencies of "John Barry" and his contemporaries. From the piano theme to the orchestral underscoring to the 40's flare... this CD has something for everyone. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys highly emotional orchestral music! (Personally, I only ripped the score to my computer, too many pop standards can be annoying... at least for me.)
