Free Music Review: The OSMONDS:The beginning...

These are the first two Osmond albums from 1971. The first contains the #1 smash "one bad apple" and a lot of other styles of music. Country pop like "Think" and "Most of all" also their signature theme "He ain't heavy, he's my brother". HOMEMADE has the rare hit "Double lovin" and a few other good songs. It's my least favorite of all the Osmond Bros. albums, but still worth having in your collection. These albums were produced by the famous producer RICK HALL. I prefer the forthcoming Osmond material over these two beginners albums. When the Osmonds wrote and were more involved in the material it was more satisfying to me. Of course, if you're a fan you'll buy anything they did and that's what I'm going to do!! It's wonderful to have all these songs in CD form after all the waiting...The CD liner notes are OK. I was hoping for more in depth info into the songs but each CD set is a rehash essay of the previous one. Nothing that most fans didn't already know.
