Free Music Review: You Can't Stop This Album
Hit: 5 Stars

I'll tell you this; wow. I've had this captivating cd since I was a little girl, but since little girls are not to the most handiest ones with cds, it's kinda well; unusuable now. So I am going to the purchase a new one after all of these years. But let me tell you, these songs and this cd is enchanting!

the music is so unique, vocally and as individual tunes themselves. but they work marvelously together in this album of fun, love, and fierce powerpuff! :p

I mean, the beats of groovy, the tunes airy and fresh, it's something totally different yet amusingly sane. I absolutly adore it.
^_^

So to answer any questions; yes. It is definitely worth buying.

Free Music Review: Destined to be a Cult Classic
Hit: 5 Stars

Being a big Powerpuff fan I purchased this album just to add to my growing collection of memorabilia. I thought for sure it would just have "kiddie tunes" and I would only listen to it only a couple of times.

Boy, was I wrong! This album rocks, straight out of the gate with Devo's "Go Monkey Go" (I was a big Devo fan back in the day). Shonen Knife's "Buttercup: I'm a Super Girl" motivated me to check out their albums (I now own all of the US releases). All of the songs are good, and are fitting for the audio storyline.

I also really dig the album graphics. This CD is a real gem and a must for any Powerpuff fan.

Free Music Review: Should be in every Punk's collection
Hit: 5 Stars

Frank Black's, "Pray for the Girls" is a lyrical and sonic masterpiece. It makes me want to trash my house like a 50 story lizard stomping on Townsville. For whatever kitsch and circumstance the rest of the CD may contain for the casual listener, Pray for the Girls is a heavy-weight monster of a song. Check the lyrics on this track and prepare to have your head blown. (If lyrics are your thing)

Devo's, "Go Monkey Go" is another fave and I can't even imagine a world with out Shonen Knife's, "Buttercup (I'm a Super Girl)"

Highly recommended for any punk with a soft spot for Art-Cheese.

Free Music Review: An hour full of powerful Powerpuff stuff.
Hit: 5 Stars

Don't worry, you don't have to be a 12 year old girl, or familiar with the show to like this. I'm a 31 year old male, and I can't decide what I like more, watching, or listening to this. These songs are so incredibly catchy, and they do relate to the cartoon as others have stated. All perfect Powerpuff punk/pop. Not a downer in the bunch. The girls and others do make appearances between the songs as well, but not annoyingly so. I love track 11. The hidden track is a nice treat too. You should pick up a copy of this in your "Townsville".

Free Music Review: One of the best CDs of all time--seriously
Hit: 5 Stars

Ok, I'm 54 years old, I've heard a lot of music, and I have a wide range of tastes. And I rank this cd as one of the best overall pop/rock listening experiences of all time. These bands put some of their best work on this disk and all of the cuts are far and above most of what has been played on commercial radio over the last 10 years. I'm sure our family has listened to this cd a hundred times over the past 8 years and we always find it new and fresh. Buy this cd before it goes out of print.
