Free Music Review: A voice for any season

This is probably the most exciting album Whitney has ever recorded. Many critics were saying that she doesn't sing like she use to: However, anyone who listens to that crystal clear voice on the original version of "I believe in You and Me" would say that the critics are WRONG. The album is a "feel-good" for anytime of the year. My personal favorites are "I Love the LORD & My Heart is Calling". Her mother also does an excellent job with the 23RD Psalms (W/ Hezekiah Walker's choir). I would reccommend this album for anyone looking for peace and happiness.I'm convinced that we still have not seen or heard the best work Whitney has to offer.

THIS WHITNEY AT HER BEST . SHE IS ONCE AGAIN IN HER ROOTS . THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST GOSPEL ALBUMS EVER . U CAN FEEL THE SOUL AND SPIRIT OF THIS ALBUM . IT IS MOSTLY TRADITIONAL GOSPEL MUSIC BUT IT DOES CARRY SOME CONTEMP. GOSPEL AND SECULAR MUSIC . MY FAVS ARE : I BELIEVE IN YOU AND ME , STEP BY STEP , HE LEADETH ME BY WHITNEY'S MOM CISSY HOUSTON . BUT THE 2 STAND OUTS OF THIS ALBUM IS "I LOVE THE LORD" AND WHITNEY'S TEAM UP W/ THE "QUEEN" OF GOSPEL MUSIC PASTOR SHIRLEY CAESAR . I REALLY LOVE THIS ALBUM . ANY CHRISTIAN OR FAN OF WHITNEY SHOULD GET THIS ALBUM . IT WILL BE A BLESSING 2 YOUR SOUL . FEEL BETTER AND GET BETTER WHITNEY . I AM PRAYING 4 U . Whitney is the number diva to date,no one does it better,than Mrs.Houston-Brown.From r and b to pop reggue to hip hop,whitney has it covered. for this cd,i was looking for something quite diffrent, may favorites on the cd is I love the Lord, and step by step,w hich is a great cover of ms.lennox's song which was never released!!!!!Whitney like one song states you are loved!!!!!!!!!

Whitney Houston was beginning to have some vocal problems at the time she recorded this album. She could no onger belt at her old intensity and to be honest acting in a movie by day and singing at night do not work. When Whitney is on she is great , when off oy vey, Here her middle and lower registers kick in as she ings gsospel music, pop and my favorite ballad of all I Believe in You And me. when i saw whitney houston do such a powerful job in her role as the preachers wife i knew i had to get this album. and it was worth every penny of it. with bringing you back home, old time gospel with an r&b sounds.
