I was first introduced to The Primitives on MTV's 120 Minutes circa 1988. I went out and bought their first album, Lovely, and I was not sorry. It's a shame this band didn't get more exposure back then. The lead singer Tracy's voice can be soothing and hard simultaneously, and the music rocks.
