Unlike many albums that have one stand-out hit song and the rest is all filler, this album has many songs that could be considered the album's best. You can tell by all the reviewers that have different picks for best song. True, if you don't like certain styles (i.e. gospel, rap, Christian rock,) you might not like the whole thing. However, if you want an eclectic, diverse mix of Christian artists on one album, get this. Personally, my favs are Destiny, Let Go, Let God, Let My People Go, and My Deliverer. (The DC Talk cover of My Deliverer is awesome although make sure to get The Jesus Record too for the Rich Mullins and Ragamuffins versions too.) This is a very uplifting, positive album with great music.Free Music Review: Great Album!

This album was great. Tracks like "Let Go, Let God" haven't gone unplayed at my church's last two gospel skates. Other "bangin" tracks on the record are "Power" by Fred Hammond, "Let My People Go" by Kirk Franklin, and Trin-i-tee's song "As Long As You're With Me". The only thing I would have changed would be the interludes. I think they could of had a better choir like James Hall & WAP or just left those songs in the movie and off the record. But, Buster and Shavoni, keep producing! Kirk's Christmas album was put together very well also! May God Bless you!Free Music Review: So much talent on one CD!?

This, my friends, isn't something to pass up! Where else can you find Hip-Hop tunes like "Let go, Let God" by Tyrone Tribbitt and GA, on the same CD as pop/rock tunes by Jars Of Clay and dc Talk. This CD is a must get for anyone who likes "Christian" ("the J word" is never mentioned) music, or enjoyed the movie and soundtrack.
Every CD has low points (the "Most High Interludes" are pretty, but not pretty enough for me), but you are sure to find this one well worth the price.
Just about every person I have shared this CD with wants to get one of their own!

This soundtrack had me almost inside the movie. Let me tell you, I'm 16 years of age and I went to go see the movie, Prince of Egypt. Even though I've read the story and heard it a thousand times, i felt the same sensation, fear, and love as the first time that I read it. Well I just don't recomend it just for little children i recomend it for everyone of all ages. The Prince of Egypt soundtrack puts you right back into that sensation all over again. Excellent CD that captured my attention from the moment I first heard it. I had not been acquainted with Christian nor Tri-ni-tee 5:7 before, but will look to listen to their music elsewhere. This is so powerful that I wonder why it was not the Soundtrack for the movie!Excellent! A must have for believers, as well as to witness to others!
