Seriously, I had no idea my 2 and 4 year old could relate to this music so quickly. It doesn't drive me crazy, because let's face it: it's good. I've been working at getting 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' soundtrack out of the car for over 6 months! I have not seen the movie, but the soundtrack is great, exactly what we've come to expect from Walt Disney Pictures (though it's nowhere near the level of "The Little Mermaid," "Beauty And The Beast," "Aladdin," "The Lion King," "Pocahontas," "The Hunchback Of Notre Dame" or "Tangled.") I knew when i watched this movie I HAD to get the soundtrack. Usually, I am not interested in soundtracks--but this one is AWESOME. The songs are catchy, uplifting, full of spirit. This movie is one of the best disney movies I have seen--and the soundtrack follows suite.
Get this soundtrack--you won't be sorry.

Just to say the movie is a delight, beautiful animation and a joy to watch with or without a child - the music on the other hand is awesome! I did not expect such a fantastic soundtrack and after the second indulgence, I realize I have to buy it. My almost-3 year old daughter is just getting to where she can remember the words to songs and LOVES singing along with Tiana, Mama Odie, and the rest of the gang. We are from south Louisiana and love the Cajun and jazz, and are long-time fans of Randy Newman. We do skip the 1st song though.
