Free Music Review: Thoroughly disappointing

I absolutely loved BETCHA BOTTOM DOLLAR by The Puppini Sisters. Normally I am not a fan of jazz music but I loved this throwback to the 1940s. The songs were catchy and had a innocent playfulness that is obviously lacking in modern pop music nowadays. I was eagerly anticipating their follow up album THE RISE AND FALL OF RUBY WOO. What a massive letdown THE RISE AND FALL OF RUBY WOO. There were only two songs that I liked on the entire album "Walk Like an Egyptian" and "Old Cape Cod". The rest of the cd put me into a coma. It was that dull and lifeless. It didn't help the group that I didn't recognize most of the songs. The problem lies in the fact that most of the songs are ballads which made the cd rather unbearable to listen to. I hope the women do a much better job at choosing songs for their next album because if this is what to expect from them, then THE RISE AND FALL OF RUBY WOO is the last album I buy of The Puppini Sisters.
