Great nugget from a time (1976) when "popular" music was at a low point. Recorded for $6,000, the original LP was about 30 minutes, but this re-issue adds all sorts of bonus tracks. Unfortunately, I feel that Rhino should have lowered the price somewhat since this LP was previously available on a single CD with "Leave Home", the groups 2nd LP from 1977. While in hindsight its hard to overstate the impact of "Ramones", I would advise interested persons not familiar with the group to check out "Rocket To Russia" or (my personal favorite) "Road To Ruin" first as these two efforts represent the band at its creative peak.
