Robert Cray has become one of the premiere blues guitarists in the world. Cray has opened for Eric Clapton on several occasions.
Cray and Clapton recently did a tour of Europe and more precisely England.
Cray opened at the Royal Albert Hall for Clapton and finally we have a good live album from Cray.
I have seen Cray twice. I saw him in 1987 when he had just released Strong Persuader. Strong Persuader to me is still the defining CD of his career. I remember him that night stealing the show from EC.
This CD does include 2 songs from that album. The problem with this album is that he is selling his new CD. I do belive some of the best blues licks you will ever hear are included on this CD.
Cray has left out several signature songs from several albums.
In all fairness to Robert Cray, the album is very solid
