What can I say about this album that hasn't been said before? That it's a collection of previously rejected material but doesn't sound like it? That it's one of the most fun Stones albums you can buy? That it's a true classic? I could very easily repeat all of that, but even being repetitive in this case is worth it. Everything you've heard about this platter is true. It's a guaranteed good time. Split neatly into a rock side and a ballad side, it doesn't make a single misstep. I'm so crazy about it that I don't even know what song I like best--I love them all equally. This is quite possibly the best album to play for someone who isn't overly familiar with the Stones and wants to hear a full Stones album for the very first time. This is Mick and the boys at their best.
