Recently I purchased this after our family saw the movie on tv over the holidays as our small children were awed by the story and music. This is a Cd I can actually listen to and not get tired of! My Girls (ages 7 and 2) especially love listening to "Do-Re-Mi" and "The Lonelt Goatherd"! Wholesome fun for the whole family --- and it doesn't get better than Julie Andrews!!Free Music Review: Fantastic!

Totally true to the movie. My four grandchildren just love the music (and the movie). There are two families of two g/children, and they keep their CDs in the car, so there is always a sing-along when they are out driving.
