It's uplifting and carries good messages about love, believing in yourself, and focusing on positives when you are scared. You'll find yourself humming the tunes during the day. I love the musical called The Sound of Music very, very much! I watch it from TV and a video I have at home, too. The best song in my opinion is Edelweiss. It brings chills to me, especially the "Bless My Home Land Forever." By the way, the movie, "The Sound of Music" was actually made in 1964 and released at the very beginning of 1965. It was not made in 1965.Free Music Review: Great Music!

This is a great cd! Sure, the record version of this has more songs, but this is still a great cd. Everyone should have a copy of this cd because it's a classic musical and it's nice music to listen to any time of the year. Get this cd!!Free Music Review: A Classic!!!

One of the best musicals ever done. Very good sound track too. Let's hope hollywood doesn't mess it up by trying to do a re-make of it. A classic should never be re-done! Great job!
