This is in my opinion the ultimate collection of works by the Temptations, all their greats are here. If you know and love the Temptations I know you'll love this disc. An interesting tidbit at the end of this disc, an excerpt in acappella of "My Girl" it only runs for 1:20, it's actually the hit recording without the music track, but if you listen close you can hear the music track leaking in, it's an interesting concept, done right we could possibly have an acappella CD by the Temptations...think about it Motown.Free Music Review: Great album of classic group

This album contains classic songs by the Temptations. My personal favorites are "Ain't Too Proud to Beg," which I sang as a sophmore in college with a friend and that experience inspired me to get this album. I also like "Papa Was a Rolling Stone" and also "Get Ready," which I never knew the Temptations did until I bought this album. This is a great album and contains most of the songs you would want unless you are into unreleased songs and alternate takes on songs by the Temptations.Free Music Review: The best of the Temptations!

Temptations: The Ultimate Collection offers their best music from 1964 until 1994, including "My Girl", "Ball Of Confusion", "The Way You Do The Things You Do" and "Just My Imagination". This CD really shows the best of lead singer Otis Williams, base Melvin Franklin, high pitched Eddie Kendricks, soul Paul Williams, and the handsom David Ruffin. The Temptaions Ultimate Collection is the best CD I own! I had never boght an "Oldies" before, but I can't live without this one. Something about David Ruffin's voice just thrills my soul. No matter how many times I listen to it, it makes me want to get up and dance everytime. Listening to the Temptations always seems to brighten my day. I would reccomend it to everyone. I only hope other people enjoy it as much as I do!!!!!!!!!Free Music Review: A must for any Classic soul Fan

The Ultimate Collection is a very good one to get; it includes the majority of the group's biggest hits, the remastering sounds great, and the chronological sequence gives a fine picture of the group's constant musical evolution. The Ultimate Collection isn't the last word on The Temptations, but it's a splendid starting point to their music, and will add a satisfying portion of sweet-and-sour soul to your next party.
