My son and his fiancee wanted their first dance as newly weds to be the song "I Want To Grow Old With You" from the soundtrack of The Wedding Singer but we couldn't find it anywhere.
I was so excited to find that it was availble on The Wedding Singer Volume 2: More Music From The Motion Picture, and that Amazon had it in stock to ship immediately.
The wedding is next weekend and I can't wait to watch their First Dance as husband and wife, while my son sings one of his favorite songs softly (while trying to remember the dance steps), to the love of his life.
Ahh..I think the kids would get a wink and a smile from Robbie and Julia!
Free Music Review: More 80s music that you wouldn't lump together

While one laments the omission of 'Jam on it' by Newcleus and the chopping up of Adam Sandler's 'Grow Old With You' (if you sneeze the song is over), the soundtrack pretty much includes all the songs that people complained were missing from the first soundtrack, including 'Private Idaho', 'Money' and the aforementioned 'Grow Old With You'. Plus, how often do you see Hall & Oates on an 80s related soundtrack? Not as good as the first but still cool. Of course, I am biased having seen the movie 8 times, and would have bought this soundtrack had it contained pure drivel.Free Music Review: Where's Adam?

No one can come close to singing LOVE STINKS like Adam. Why didn't they put his version in the CD? I don't know but after hearing the real version again (for the first time since, like, 8th grade) it was pretty mellow and not enough ommmph. Adam put the punch in it like it needs and it's too bad it isn't on there. There has got to be a CD with all Adam's movie songs that he himself has made. There's just gotta. I got this for cheap at a used CD store. I wanted it for just one track- Dead or Alive's You Spin Me Round (Like a record). Their leader is trans- Peter Burns. I saw it on VH1's greatest one hit wonders of the 80s, which I believe was in the teens. It is a classic disco/techno track that has stood the test of time. *You spin me right round, baby

Free Music Review: Good album, but needed a few key 80's tunes,

Don't get me wrong, I like this CD. Yet I was watching the movie and I noticed a great song was used, but excluded from the soundtrack. After the group of four had eaten dinner and Drew Barymore had gotten sick, she was going to leave with her future husband. As the door of his Daloreon opened vertically (nice touch), you could hear the theme to Miami Vice playing in his car. This is the greatest theme song ever! Had could you not take the opportunity to add a track like that to an already incredible CD?
