You really have to purchase this in order to appreciate the power of this album, even if you own the original (like I did.) There are 8 more songs on this and none of them are duds. Plus the extensive liner notes are an added bonus. And there is chit-chat with the audience, if you like that sort of thing. This album alone proves that Keith Moon was the best rock drummer ever. His inventiveness and energy are unmatched. "Young Man Blues," with its violent stop-start progression and jazzy interlude is HEAVY, it rolls over you like a speeding Panzer division. "Magic Bus" will destroy your speakers with its intensity. "Tattoo" is a sweetly melodic break from it all. And I'm glad that this album didn't include most of the material from "Tommy." I'm sick of that thing anyway. But the live renditions of what is included will blow awaaay the studio tracks. My only complaint is that they edited out Roger's scream in the begining of "My Generation." Why? But they did fix the begining of "Magic Bus," including the microphone problem. This album blows away any Zeppelin performance.
