Free Music Review: The Who's other forgotten LP....

Undoubtedly the most unrecognized album in the Who canon, it's also one of the groups most humerous and transistional records. Punk had arrived and was making the boys seem a bit 'dino' regardless of the fact that the group were direct progentiors of the sound. Townshend sees this through bemused and ironic eyes, as in 'They're All in Love', catalogs his everyday rock-star woes in 'However Much I Booze', and equates the new punk-rock front to soldiers in 'Slip Kid'. There are other notable moments on this album that rightfully deserves a slot in any self-respecting Who-fan's collection.
