Hello OZ fans. This is truly the best Wizard Of OZ soundtrack to date in my opinion. In October of '05 Warner Bros is releasing this classic film again on DVD. I was wondering if anybody knows if they will release another soundtrack to accompany the re-release DVD? Either way, I doubt it could compare to this excellent deluxe edition. This is probably the best recording that i have ever heard of OZ. It is truly amazing how they have preserved the copies of the outtakes, numbers that didn't make the show, etc. I believe that if you are an OZ fan, or if just new to this movie/musical, this is a must have. The price may be a tad high, but it is worth it.Free Music Review: Very complete, great book inside, great quality.

Well its excellent and as soon as i saw it, I had to buy it, even though it was very expensive here in Australia, the extras on disk 2 are great, and its good to hear some stuff that didn't make it to the movie. Im glad that I came accross a copy to buyFree Music Review: Wizard of Oz

My only complaint may be that this collection has too much on it. I never realized how many songs are played in the background and not in the forefront of the movie. Thoroughly entertaining and well worth the money.Free Music Review: oz

i grew up watchin wizard of oz as a little kid i really liked the music i especially liked judy garlands somewhere over the rainbow. every time i watch it i am still blown away i will treasure this cd 4 years to come
