I have followed this band since their days of pre-signing with a major record label, and I for one totally appreciate this album. I don't much listen to Crutch or the last song on the album but everthing else is great, if you like Theory. I love the way they have progressed on this relaese. They seem to have concentrated more on their melodic ability and their great harmonies. Most songs are 100% radio playable and most all could be instant hits. They have improved their song writing, with more songs about things that relate to everyone's lives. And the addititon of a song written with Chris daughtry is killer....it's called BY The Way, which is so far my favorte. I promise you'll enjoy it.Free Music Review: Not Nickelbak?

Okay, so a new TOAD CD is out, and all the Nickelback references are already being stirred up. Let's get this straight, they were discovered by Nickelback, and Tyler has a very similar voice to Chad, but since when does that mean that just cause someone has a voice similar to someone else you gotta say all they make is generic crap? Well in the end it shouldn't but sadly it does. My word of advice, is if you liked any of TOAD's first stuff check this out, and sadly it's true if you like any of Nickelback's stuff you'll like this.
Though as a CD in general, if you like a hard rock ballad type CD you'll enjoy this.

Though I didn't like this album quite as much as the first two, it is still a good album. Yes, there are similarities in sound and vocals between Nickelback and TOAD, but one of the greatest distinctions, in my opinion, is whereas Nickelback tends to only have 2, maybe 3 good songs per CD with the rest just filler, virtually every song on a TOAD CD is decent, and there is never a bad song. Personally, I like TOAD better. They rise above Nickelback in just about every aspect except fame. I hope they eventually earn the fame they deserve.Free Music Review: Quite Pleased

I didn't know what to expect from them since " So Happy" was their 1st single,but once I bought the cd I was quite pleased with this cd.They have some very good catchy songs.I wouldn't say its their best cd,but its pretty close.My only problem is there were quite alot of slow songs,but they usually do alot of slow songs.Overall good rock cdFree Music Review: Great talent, but too many slow songs.

I absolutely love Theory of a Dead Man. Each song is great, but I was really hoping to rock out, and this CD didn't do that for me. Too many slow songs.I really enjoyed their past CD's better. They had better variety.
