They Might Be Giants have done it again. This DVD is great fun, just as one would expect from TMBG. My son loves it, and I love hearing something different in a sea of vacuous children's artists.
Quite a few times, I have bought a cd or dvd for my son, just to get it home and be unpleasantly surprised by how short it was. That is certainly not the case here. There were over 50 songs on this DVD, and each video/song is so different from the last, not to mention very catchy. My son dances around singing "E Eats Everything" like its going out of style.
Thank you, TMBG for throwing a party in my living room every day!

My 2.5-year-old twin boys love this DVD. Lately I play it for them every day by request. They wake up from their nap chanting "ABCs" then they get wildly excited when I put it on. My kids already know the alphabet, but I still think this is an excellent way for young children to learn. Each song/video is creative, fun and highlights a different aspect of the alphabet. They cover specific letters, as well as the order of the alphabet, forwards and backwards! I used to go see TMBG at a little club called The Grotto in New Haven in the 80's, so it's extremely fun for me to share the music of this quirky and creative duo with my children.Free Music Review: YEAH! It's simple, this is an awesome kid's CD! I bought it when my son was 2 years old and he's now 3. He still loves the music and sings to it all of the time, even when it's not on. It's a must have for car rides and will give your kids a chance to learn their ABC's in fun. The DVD is a bonus! It's also great - sometimes cheesy, but I think that's TMBG's style - - - the images are funky and fun to atch for grownups - and the music is not the same annoying sing-songs of Wiggle fame (sorry Wiggle fans). I have since purchased this as kid's gifts for all of the 1 to 4 year olds in our little circle and so far, everyone has shown a liking.Free Music Review: My kids have their eyes and their ears glued to this

I wondered if my kids would really like this, I mostly bought it for myself as an old school fan of They Might Be Giants. I was surprised to find that both my four and two year olds LOVE it! (Actually, I typically hear my 10 and 11 year olds, plus my husband and I singing songs around the house...catchy tunes!) We have both 123's and ABC's (referred to as "letters" and "numbers") in our house. I think I'll be buying the new Science CD/DVD set as well, and also plan to buy both 123's and ABC's for my sons' preschool class so we can share the love with other kids too!

I can't say enough about how awesome this CD/DVD combo is! My son just turned two and he adores they MIGHT BE giants! He asks to hear and/or see them daily. It offers fun and education at the same time! What great Artistry from they MIGHT BE giants and crew in both the musical and visual arts for our little ones. It is great for kids of all ages....my Son has been listening and watching them since he was 18 months old....and my Girlfirends boys who are 10 and 12 enjoyed it while visiting too! As for the adults--quite tolerable and even catchy tunes! HIGHLY RECOMENDED--Go out and get this one as well as their Here Come the 1 2 3's!
