Free Music Review: More Van Morrison than "The Boss"
Hit: 5 Stars

"Dancing in the Moonlight" is a ode to Van the Man, not Bruce (that's for Boys are Back). This album shows that you can listen to one band and, to an unitiated, thinks it is many bands. While a bit mellow, the guitar solos and harmanies are haunting. As great as other hard rock/metal bands are (Maiden, Priest, AC/DC) all their songs kinda sound alike - Lizzy's songs do not!

The critics who have rated this album a 3 star need to study this album a bit more as it is a complete masterpiece.

Free Music Review: Best yet from classic line up
Hit: 5 Stars

This release followed Jailbreak and Johnny the Fox and was probably the best studio album from this line-up.The duelling guitars of Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson were never better, and the live dates provided much of the material for Live And Dangerous.Check out Downtown Sundown and That Woman's Gonna Break Your Heart for examples of lesser known tracks ,and Southbound ranks as one of their all-time classics.Their material was never again so consistently strong.Buy it!

Free Music Review: Stands the test of time
Hit: 5 Stars

This album when it hit the scene summed up where the band was heading. It is my favorite Thin Lizzy recording and the guitars just soar on the harder rock tunes but the ballads are solid too. Everything on this recording fits nice and snug and it is a testament to the era it came from. I wore out my vinyl copy so I bought the CD and play it when Im on a road trip these days.

Free Music Review: FACTS.
Hit: 5 Stars

Message to Pitchulo and cd-heaven (see more about me) from Poontang Heaven. Brian Robertson played lead on opium trail and killer without a cause.
Message to A music fan from Silver Spring, Maryland USA. Phil Lynott died of a drugs overdose.

Free Music Review: Robbo is the best
Hit: 5 Stars

Contrary to other reviews, Brian Robertson played the far better solos on this album.Opium trail and killer without a cause are both Brians solos.Turn up your amp to full power and just listen to the wailing solo on opium trail.Stunning stuff!
