Free Music Review: Best Ever?- No Competition
Hit: 5 Stars

This album is the best ever, no question. The lyrics are catchy at first, but after you've listned a couple of times you begin to see how deep the lyrics really are. Here is a review of each song, one by one.

1) Losing a whole year: A song, like so many of their songs that I wasnt impressed by at first. It grew on me unbelievably fast.

2)Narcolepsy: A very catchy song, with the typical 3eb style. I loved it the first time I listened.

3) Semi-Charmed: What can you say? The best song ever.

4) Jumper: A very deep song. I liked it at first because of the catchiness, then I really realized what a great, deep song this was.

5) Graduate: A very punk rocky song, that isn't my style. If it is your style, you'll love it.

6)How's it Gonna Be: A very very catchy song. Before I even knew I liked it, I found myself singing it to mself.

7)Thanks A-Lot: This song is the closest this album comes to filler. Not much content, althogh it does have a pretty good chorus.

8)Burning Man: Another semi-filler song. This song has better lyrics and a better chorus then #7.

9)Good for you: This song grew on me greatly. Some of my friends hate it, so you'll have to decide yourself.

10)London: A fast-paced song that would be one to sing along to if you could catch up with Jenkins.

11)I Want You: A song I never really liked, but my friends love it. In this album, this is the song I skip over.

12) The Backround: One of the best songs I've ever heard.(the only other songs better are on this album)This song showcases jenkins voise beautifully.

13) Motorcycle Drive By: I've never really listened to this much, I'm not sure why.

14)God of Wine: Wow. After all of the other awesome songs, you'd think they'd have run out of inspiration. This is my 2nd favorite song of all time. This song is slower than most, a great song to fall asleep to.

This the best CD of all-time. The best songs of all time?-

1)Semi-Charmed

2)God of Wine

3)Jumper

4)The Backround

Again WOW! :)

P.S: Blue RULES too!

Free Music Review: secret that needs to be revealed
Hit: 5 Stars

Narcolepsy, by Third Eye Blind, is a very diverse CD. It contains up-beat songs like" Semi-Charmed Life", the number one hit, to soul wrenching hits like,"How's it Gonna Be", to the alternative style "Narcolepsy." This CD is very attractive to many diffirent types of listeners , but remains a secret that may never be tapped into. My personal favorite track on the CD, "Motorcycle Drive By," goes from calm and soothing, to emotion filled rock, and back down to soothing again with the utmost finesse; all the while resounded its theme, "Iv`e never been so alone, and I`ve never been so alive." They use many different effects in their songs, most of which can't be described. Track 11 on the CD contains many of these effects and mixes to make a a new stlye of song that you, like I, will be amazed with.

Out of the 13 songs on the CD, three of them have made it big. Their first release, "Semi-Charmed Life," is a fast-paced song that spits lyrics out so quickly that you will never understand all the words unless reading the inside cover. This song will get you all jazzed up and you won't be able to get enuogh of it. "How's it Gonna Be" is another popular song of theirs, and most everyone wil be able to relate to it. It's words seem to race through your mind over and over and whatever is on your mind will connects with this song. If you listen to the radio, you are probably familiar with the hit, "Jumper". This song, about a person ready to "jump" and end his life, is an actual episode in the life of Stephen Jenkins, the primary vocalist. One of the best points of this CD is just that. Stephen Jenkins puts all of his emotions into his songs and relates them to the listener with supreme effectiveness. Most of the songs contain real life situations; consequentially the listener will be moved even more by the notes which infect you mind.

Free Music Review: It's super poppy, but I still Love it.
Hit: 5 Stars

I listen to alot of different types of music but this is still one of my favorite albums of all time. Third Eye Blind is a great band that is constantly underrated and not given any credit for their work by critics. This album is a great debut and my fav TEB album. Every song drifts togethr perfectly into the grand finale.

1.Losing a Whole Year 5/5 One of the later released singles and a great song. One of the harder songs on the whole album.

2.Narcolepsy 5/5 A deep song taht never gets old

3.Semi-Charmed Life 5/5 The biggest hit from the album and the ultimate pop song. YOu can't help but sing to this classic song and it will always put you in a good mood.

4.Jumper 5/5 Another hit single. A more serious song about suicide w/ a great guitar solo towards the end. Close to my fav song on the album.

5.Graduate 5/5 i found myself and my buddies singing this song alot last year before we graduated.

6.How's it Gonna Be 5/5 Yet another hit single and a great one.
7.Thanks Alot 5/5 I love this song. great chorus

8.Burning Man 3/5 First song on the three song weak point in the album, but it's still a solid song.

9.Good For You 4/5 pretty good song

10.London 3/5 Weakest song on the album. I use to hate this song and always skip it but ive recently realized its a solid song.

11.I Want You 5/5 First song on the strongest part of the album These last four songs are awesome.

12.The Background 5/5 My favorite song ont he album its a doozie of a song

13.Motorcycle Drive By 5/5 This is all my friends favorite but i still like the background better. This is a slower song w/ great lyrics

14.God of Wine 5/5 Great album finale!!!!

THIs album is amazing and is one of the best albums of the 90's. If you still don't have this album u need to get it pronto!

Free Music Review: Even after 7 years, the CD is Still Playing in my Car
Hit: 5 Stars

Third Eye Blind's debut album, in my opinion, is one of the top three alternative albums in history. Jenkins and the rest of the group released this CD in 1997, and even to this day, it is still a top ten buy in at least one American city. The CD starts off with "Losing a Whole Year," a song that is just perfect for starting the album. The next songs, "Narcolepsy," "Semi-Charmed Life," "Jumper," "Graduate," and "How's it Gonna Be" set the tone, stimulates your ears and reassures you that you do not need to skip any of the songs. Then, song number 7, "Thanks A Lot" starts a new tone for the album. "Thanks A Lot" is one of those songs that I can still blast in my Acura with my windows down. The next song, "Burning Man," slows down the album once again, and reveals the immense variety that 3eb can push out. Track 9 and 10 is "Good for You" and "London." Those are probably the weakest tracks on the CD. I remember in 1997, when I first purchased this CD, I would always skip those two songs. Track 11, which is "I Want You," is magnetic. It takes about two listens, and after those two listens, you realize how excellent of a song it is. Track 12, which is entitled "Background," is my personal favorite. If you're really into electric guitar, this song will make you want to cry. The lyrics for "Background" are also astonishing. The last two tracks, which are "Motorcycle Drive By" and "God of Wine" are very laid back. They are perfect for closing the CD out. If you look at the reviews on Amazon, this CD is still being reviewed after so many years. Even my friends who aren't into this type of music still label this CD as a great classic. Third Eye Blind has lost it's "pop" fame in present time, but listening to this album is like rediscovering a major part of the past, and never wanting it to be lost.

Free Music Review: Maybe the Most Underrated Album of the 90's
Hit: 5 Stars

Ok, so maybe this is an old cd. Maybe Third Eye Blind has went backwords after making this record. All I know is that it's great, and helped me find my love for music. From front to back, there are no fillers. How many albums can you repeat that and truly mean it? Anyways, this truly is a music experience that no one should be left out of. Here's how I rank the songs.

The most amazing and incredible songs on the album include: Motorcycle drive by-one of my all-time favorite songs and maybe the most underrated song on the panet, The Background-A ballad song that is very moving, everybody likes songs like this, God of Wine-Another underrated track, it closes te album and shows great emotion, and finally, Narcolepsy-A song that slowly builds pace and then explodes, I love it.

The great songs on the album include: Semi-Charmed Life- Used to be my favorite song in the world, but sadly, radio took over and kinda burned it. Still always great. Losing A Whole Year-Could have been one of best on cd but I hate songs that say gods name in vain repetedly for no reason and is pretty short, How's It Gonna Be-A great ballad, once again sorta played a lot, but if you haven't heard it which I'm sure you have u better check it out if you haven't, Jumper- Everyone has heard it its great I love the instrumental 2/3 of the way in song, I remember hearing it about 100 times on radio when it was first released, and Graduate-A short agressive song with cool lyrics and a great rocker.
The rest of the songs are great to, these one just jump out at me. if you don't have this cd, I strongly suggest you go pick it up, it defnetely helps the day go better.

Anyways, I love Third Eye Blind, even today when their stuff isn't as solid as it used to be. This is truly one of the mose underrated and best debut albums, ever. Period.
