Free Music Review: Creapy and perfect

I'm newish to the whole gothic country thing. Generally I hate country and all the sexy tractors that go with it. Then I discovered 16 Horsepower and Wovenhand and found this wonderfully dark southern gothic "country" sound. I got hooked and loved it. By the by the "you might like this" button suggested these boys. Reviewers stated it was their most experimental release which intrigued me so I picked it up. I must say Wyatt has one of the creepiest and well ranged voice I've heard in a while. The music is dark as are the lyrics in all their fire and damnation cry for redemption best. Anyone who can black metal scream on a country album deserves some serious kudos. I've since picked up "Hellfire Hymns" and "Satan is Watching," my wife summed this band up perfectly: "it makes me feel I should be burying a body somewhere." This is a great disk, buy it.
