Since when is Hip Hop about selling out? Track 10 (DSX Talk) is basically an advertisement for the three 6 mafia clothing line. A commercial in the middle of an album? How sad!! Trck 19 (Outro) is another commercial, this time for other hip hop albums and a DVD. They even go as far as to mention purchasing the DVD at Best Buy and Target...how much were they paid for that? This album pretty much sounds like the same song remixed with new lyrics and commercials to boot. I guess hip hop is now about selling out...selling out to the man. I took a class in college...I graduated college, sorry Kanye West (moron)...where we talked about television and advertising. We had a discussion about this form of advertising some corporation came up with involving a giant illuminated bilboard that would be in orbit around the Earth. This billboard would be visible from all over the planet even durring the day. Kind of like the flying billboard in Bladerunner. If you purchase this album you are only furthering commercialism and advertisement and one day we will be forced to live with a massive billboard covering the entire skyline. Sure one person...or even a million...purchasing this album will not result in an armageddon of advertising, but it is a step closer. Man o man...here we go again with some pop nonsense. I am a big Three six Mafia fan, but this nonsense is straight Hip Pop. It's garbage. How you go from Lock em in the trunk to Lolli Lolli??? When it comes to making money, people sell there souls to make a profit. They give what the people want...But to be honest with you, with the exception of a couple of rappers that are on they label, they don't live the life they say they do anyways...This album here is just icing on the cake. If you like mainstream rap, buy this album, it's perfect for you. If you like underground, wash your dishes with it because this album is for the birds!!!
