Free Music Notes for Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before ChristmasFree Music Review: This was an incredible CD Hit: 5 Stars
This CD soundtrack was an expertly produced and written score. Danny Elfman is an amazing composer and Tim Burton has an eye for making macabre story lines into magnificent films. Along with the complete score from this film, this soundtrack included bands' and artists' covers of the songs that we have come to know and love. Overall, I believe this is a great product.
Free Music Review: Fantastic Hit: 5 Stars
When will Elfman get his due credit? The man is one of the most versatile composers of his day, and has not been awarded a thing. Personally I think that Nightmare before Christmas was his best. But Corpse Bride was fantastic. He know how to fit into Burton's visions perfectly. The additional music is really great. Love panic at the disco.
Free Music Review: Fresh and Awesome!! Hit: 5 Stars
This CD was truly captivating. I remember when this released when I was a child and remember being mesmerized by the music of it. The new bands and artists that covered those songs, I think, truly kept that alive and added their own special twist. It was done with true poise and it's an awesome staple to anyone's collection!
Free Music Review: Clearer Mix Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this edition for the bonus disc and the 3D cover, but I am also pleased to say that the new mix of the original soundtrack is cleaner, more clear, more fun to listen to. Maybe it is too subtle a difference for casual listeners, for me it is newly fresh.
The bonus disc is great especially for the Elfman demos.
