Free Music Notes for Let It GoFree Music Review: Learning to Love It Hit: 4 Stars
I am a HUGE Tim McGraw fan! I had heard some of the songs from this album during at a concert on his Soul II Soul tour last summer and really enjoyed them. But, when I got the album it seemed like the two or three songs I liked then were the only ones I liked now. But, after listening to it three or four more times I've started to really like the entire album. It is a bit more depressing than some of his others, but the vocals are good and the songs are catchy. My absolute favorite is the first song on the CD. I love it!
Free Music Review: Worth it Hit: 4 Stars
This may be a surprise to die hard Tim fans. Some of the songs are like old school country, while a few were like nothing I heard from him before. The first time I heard Between the River and Me I knew I wanted to see him sing this song in person. It's powerful and haunting. The more I listen to this cd,the more it grows on me. You don't have to be a Tim McGraw fan to appreciate this. He is an artist that is always striving to reach beyond what is expected of him.
Free Music Review: let it go Hit: 4 Stars
Tim McGraw's "Let It Go" is easy to appreciate if you're a fan of his previous work. His vocals are as sharp as ever, and the production is great. So far, I feel nothing stands out in this collection like his previous "Just To See You Smile" or "One Of These Days" or last album's "Blank Sheet Of Paper", but all in all this is still a nice album.
Highlights for this listener; The duet with wife Faith Hill "Shotgun Rider" and the title cut "Let It Go"
Free Music Review: Changed his style again Hit: 4 Stars
I've been a Tim fan for a couple of years, and I have his last two CDs, which I really like, but were a little too serious at times. This one has some of that serious nature, but he has kind of gone to more of his old style. The duets with Faith are okay, one ballad, the other is more of a traditional country. Overall, really good and if you like Tim McGraw you should get this, because he kind of changed his style again in a good way.
Free Music Review: Happy with it! Hit: 4 Stars
I had not heard great things about this Cd before I bought it...but was pleased with it from the minute I got it! I had searched all over for the duet of Tim and Faith and the rest of the music is pretty good too. Great buy--
