Free Music Review: Star Wars Redux

I don't own the CD, but just finished watching the TV show, and I can't believe that this is considered original music. The theme for the Longcoats is almost note-for-note the theme for the Storm Troopers from Star Wars, and that is just one of many phrases that were so blatantly duplicated as to distract from the viewing of the movie. I guess John Williams's score for Star Wars was iconic enough to become movie-making convention, but even a little obfuscation in this case would have made for a more effective soundtrack to a movie that is supposed to have more in common with The Wizard of Oz than Star Wars.
