Free Music Notes for CrazysexycoolFree Music Review: WHO ARE REALLY R+B'Z BAD GIRLS? Hit: 5 Stars
Well one nominee would have to be the group called TLC! There debut effort "Ohhhh on the TLC tip" introduced us to a way more fun aproach. All the though the album did go platinum like pretty much ever TLC album. THis effort the sophmore effort "CrazySexyCool" is da bomb plain and simple. With songs like "Somethin' wicked this way comes" (featuring Richie Rich), and "CrazySexyCool" (featuring Richie Rich and Puff Daddy) go to show how hot these girls can get. If you ever are in the mood with your honey songs that will get you flowing are "let's do it again" which features T-Boz and Chilli on lead vocals and Left Eye's moan of ecstacy throught the track and "red light special". The girls can do it on there own too like "Not Tonight" (remix) where Left Eye teamed up with Lil' Kim, Missy Elliott, Hot 97's Angie Martinez, and Da Brat. T-Boz realeased a solo single off the Fled soundtrack that was rather controversial called "touch myself". The track was written and produced by Dallas Austin. The other nominee for the "bad girls" are another group of three girls called Total. Be sure to buy their debut "Total" and their soffmore effort "Kima, Keisha and Pam", both recieveing 5 stars.
Free Music Review: TLC's Best And One Of My All-Time Favorites Hit: 5 Stars
I have had this album since it's release date and I pop it in the CD player occasionally to reminsce. Crazysexycool stayed iin heavy rotation in my CD player longer than any other album in my collection. An album has to be good if you will purchase it again after it has been damaged or lost(I have purchased this album at least three times). TLC's first album was groudbreaking, but this album took their innovation to new heights. On Crazysexycool, TLC dismissed all possibilities of a "sophomore slump". There were some gems on this album that are still bangers to this day, i.e. Sumthin Wicked This Way Comes(classic verse from Dre of Outkast), Waterfalls(features messages that will forever be relevant), Red Light Special(still burns up the airwaves during the quiet storm hours) and Creep(frank, yet classic track about infidelity). This album was one of the best releases of the 90's. No female vocal group was able to do what TLC did with this album. Crazysexycool went on to become the top-selling album from a female vocal group. There have been attempts to imitate the group, but all have remained unsuccessful. If you do not have this album, your collection is lacking one of the best albums of the 90's.
Free Music Review: At TLC's best...better than FANMAIL, in my opinion. Hit: 5 Stars
I love CRAZYSEXYCOOL. Some people might think it's not as good as FANMAIL, but I disagree! Sure, FANMAIL is pretty good, but CRAZYSEXYCOOL is just so much better! My favorite tracks on this album are: "Creep", "Kick Your Game", "Diggin' On You" -- one of my top 3 favorites, "Red Light Special" -- one of my top 3 favorites, and "Waterfalls" -- the other song on my list of the top 3 songs from this album. All the songs are excellent, but "Diggin' On You", "Red Light Special", and "Waterfalls" are the absolute best tracks on this CD. TLC's voices are amazing on this album and the lyrics are awesome, too. A lot of people may call TLC a Hip-Hop or Pop group. But they are not Hip-Hop or Pop, they are a Soul R&B group! And this album is totally all R&B...nothing more and nothing less. Though TLC went bankrupt with CRAZYSEXYCOOL, this is still their best album and nothing by TLC can top this album - not even their Grammy winning album, FANMAIL. If you're a TLC fan or a fan of R&B and Soul, you must get this album. You will not be disappointed! It's one of the best R&B albums out there!
Free Music Review: DIDN'T CREEP TO THIS.... Hit: 5 Stars
CrazySexyCool was TLC's masterpiece. All that could be united in an album from pop to hip hop, from R&B to rap, this album has it all. TLC got rid of the funky funny image that they have portrait with their debut album. Now they approach to a much mature audience, being sexy and social aware. "Waterfalls" the undeniable highlight of the album, perfectly describe the newer issues that affect today society in a perfect slow hip hop, "Creep" the first single release was a urban attempt, that fitted so well in TLC style, and focused on the cheating guys!, the love songs were well represented by the ballads of "Diggin' On You", and the sexyness was fullfil by so many sensual R&B tracks, "Kick Your Game, Red Light Special(wow!), If I Was Your Girlfriend, Take Our Time", and the funkyness wasn't left out here "Case Of The Fake People, Switch", overall, TLC's CrazySexyCool could be labeled as a perfect soundtrack of the middle 90's, and represented more than 10 million copies sold!, incredible this has to be the ultimate TLC album, and the best they ever crafted, and makes us realize how much they're gonna be missed.
