Free Music Notes for Big Dog DaddyFree Music Review: The Big Dog Daddy Hit: 4 StarsToby's first album on his own label is great. I am a huge fan, and have noticed some differences between this album and his past albums, but I am pleased with this one. Good listening!!
Free Music Review: Review for the CD: "Big Dog Daddy " Hit: 5 StarsBig Dog Daddy - Every song on this CD is great! I love it ! and I love you Amazon!
Free Music Review: Big Dog Daddy is a playful platypus. Hit: 5 StarsI think Big Dog Daddy is a platypus because no matter what you enjoy Toby put a little something together on this CD for you to relate to and enjoy and maybe make you smile. Toby touches all the bases including some signature hard hitting rowdy songs and some ballads that bounce between love and nostalgia. You might not get all of what you want but your going to get some of what you want - Toby touches all the bases and creates a cd that probably represents his fan base - diverse, concise, with a little humor, a little romance and a lot of rowdy.
Whether you disagree with Toby's politics or lifestyle isn't what a review is about it's about the music. And Toby carries Big Dog Daddy not only with the diversity of the songs but with his strong, baritone that doesn't carry the southern nasal or twang but instead has a well-rounded Southern Ease that is just plain enjoyable to listen to. I'm not of the bar scene rowdy variety and truly enjoyed the very grown up White Rose and Love Me if You Can but the kid in me laughed all the way through the High energy Big Dog Daddy. When all is said and done - Big Dog Daddy is crazy, interesting and fun - sort of like a platypus.
Free Music Review: Toby still got it Hit: 4 Starsthis is a good album athough it is similar in sound to some of his other stuff. But if you like Toby, you will still like it.
Free Music Review: If you listen to contemporary country music then you are submitting yourself to government brainwashing! Hit: 5 StarsContemporary country music has a certain backwoods flavor that represents itself as harmless bucolic fun. Let the truth be known though, the whole country music scene is just one big Agent Provocateur! Disguising themselves as Christian gool-ol-boys (and girls) they worm their way into your homes and sow the seeds of decay, deceit, lies, mischief, and unfaithfulness!
Take our first example Carrie Underwood. She took America by storm with her first hit single, Jesus take the Wheel. A song of Christian faith and fealty. America was so brainwashed by this initial offering that they didn't even take notice of her next hit, Before he Cheats. In this song, Carrie Underwood recommends and goes into great detail about how to enact revenge on an unfaithful man!
"I dug my key into the side of his pretty little suped up four-wheel drive. Carved my name into his leather seats. I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights, slashed a hole in all four tires"
In the music video she smashes all the windows and pretty much demolishes the vehicle. Smashing a person's vehicle to bits is a felony that will land you in prison! While the Christian ideal would be to turn the other cheek, Underwood engages in pagan violence and revenge! I could delve even further about how she won the American Idol contest. Isn't there a strong biblical law against making yourself an idol?
Most country music songs written today glamorize: alcohol abuse, marital-unfaithfulness, violence, and general lawlessness.
Think of the government as an octopus with ever growing tentacles that delve into every aspect of our society. While all forms of music are harmless and enjoyable on their own, forces with an agenda seduce the struggling artists with money to write the songs THEY want them to. If you don't then you are told to come up with something that will sell. (hint, hint.) Every song produced by today's music industry whether it be rock, rap, or country, contains humanist propaganda placed by an ever growing government that wants to abolish the old way of life!
You, the country music listener are a demographic to them! They are out to sell you the same product but with different packaging and you are being fooled! What the country music listener doesn't realize is that country music artists are mocking them! They see you as throwbacks to a bygone era and parody you! With affected `hick' accents, blue jeans, and cowboy hats they make a mockery of you and sing about what they think `down-home inbred idiots' are interested in! When they aren't singing about cheating on their spouses, committing crimes, or just generally being sinful, they sing about `bull-riding,' hunting, loving America, going to church, and NASCAR!
Let's have another example, Toby Keith. In this radio-friendly hit, Love me if you Can, Keith says:
"And I believe that Jesus looks down here and sees us, and if you
ask him he would say:
I'm a man of my convictions. Call me wrong, call me right. But I bring my better angels to every fight. You may not like
where I'm going, but you sure know where I stand. Hate me if you want to, love me if you can."
In the video, Keith walks around an airport with Christian/conservative bumper-stickers on his guitar case. But the bulk of his work contains messages like this excerpt from Get Drunk and be Somebody:
"All week long we're some real nobodies,
but we just punched out and its paycheck Friday,
Weekends here, good God almighty,
People lets get drunk and be somebody"
Again a complete mixed message! Country music seeks to rope you in with a God-fearing rural fa?ade, then after you're paralyzed by the poison begins to devour you!
Also, let's analyze the first verses of Love me if you can.
"Sometimes I think that war is necessary.
Every night I pray for peace on Earth.
I hand out my dollars to the homeless.
But believe that every able soul should work.
My father gave me my shotgun that I'll hand down to my son, try to teach him everything it means"
Clearly we have far-left marketing execs writing lyrics they know us back-water rubes will salivate over. As to them we're all just stingy armchair general gun-nuts! Look at it this way, it's like you get a knock on the door and when you answer it, the person is dressed the same way you dress, talks the same way you talk, and seems to have the same beliefs as you. You are immediately trustful so you let him in and allow him to stay. Then before you've even realized it, he has created enmity in your family. Your wife no longer trusts you and your kids no longer respect you!
Going into further detail about these music videos, practically every one contains semi-nude women dancing or otherwise acting lasciviously! When women dress like this they are tempting men into sin such as cheating on their wives or even ra-pe! Most of what they wear is very scanty, shows a fair amount of cleavage, and they wear short skirts or shorts that accentuate their rear-ends. Now don't misunderstand me, I'm in no way saying we should throw our ladies in burkas (aka ghost costumes) but there's a difference between dressing `pretty' and dressing `sexxy.' If a woman wears a conservative sun-dress, she will look pretty and men will respect her and treat her like a lady; coincidentally if a woman dresses like a vvhore, then men will have no respect for them and treat them like vvhores. Sorry but that's how the world works.
In closing, classic country is a lot more family-friendly and sends a much better and coherent message, but still be careful as there are some dodgy artists out there such as Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Check out the lyrics of Waylon's classic, Cocxine Blues:
"Early one morning, making my rounds, I took a hit of coxaine and I shot my woman down."!!!!!!! You'd expect this from the most violent gangsta-rap not good ol' C&W!
