I love this CD. My favorite number is "Big Dog Daddy" because it truly rocks. Don't want to date myself, but I'm from original rock with Gerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard etc. I always turn up the volume on this one. The instrumentals are spectacular and generous. I hate for it to end. I never tire of this album. It has great variety, nostalgia, heart, thought and humor.Free Music Review: Toby Rocks and Croons

I love Toby Keith and always have and this didn't disappoint. His new single, Love Me if You Can, is thoughful and High Maintenance Woman is funny, but Big Dog Daddy just crys out for a Juke Joint in Western Oklahoma and sawdust on the floor, chain link around the band stand, and bottles of beer flying through the air. I was not a Toby Keith fan until I saw him in concert at Jamboree in the Hills July 21, 2007. He puts on a great performance. If no one knows what Jamboree in the Hills is its the super bowl of country music. Toby put on a spectacular concert. Toby now has a new fan thanks to Jamboree in the Hills. the album is great. it is the best album altogether, that i have heard from anyone in country music in a couple of years. im not the biggest toby fan out there but if you could just lay aside toby keith's personal beliefs and just enjoy the music you will discover this album has everything you like about country music. I like toby because he has a fine distinctive voice and uses it well on differing song moods and his backing is well thought out. Especially liked the Jack Daniels track as we visited the distillery in april and our guide called Dusty was memorable going toby and always try new things.
