Free Music Review: Another solid effort

Another solid effort by Country Music's most honest and feerless performer. As always, Toby had a hand in writing most of the songs on the album, writing or co-writing 9 of the 11 songs.
I've always felt that Toby Keith was a superior balladeer and this album supports that notion. While the rowdy "High Maintenance Woman", "Get My Drink On", "Big Dog Daddy" and "Pump Jack" are all acceptable radio fodder, it's on songs such as the Fred Eaglesmith-penned "White Rose" and his own "I Know She Hung the Moon" that Toby really shines as a vocalist. Both of these songs would make excellent singles
I also liked the lyrics to "Love Me If You Can", a song that, while not written by Toby, certainly seems autobiographical. I think this may be the most meaningful lyric to show up in a country song in several years - it certainly resonates for a lot of us.
While Toby's lyrics may never be politically correct (and the effete may take umbrage at his politics), they are always insightful. "Walk It Off" is an expression that any kid shaking off the effects of a foul ball off his shins knows.
Not quite his best effort, and I would like to hear the electric guitars toned down a bit, but this album certainly will please his fans

I love Toby he's my favorite country star, yet I found this CD to be missing something. White Trash With Money was awesome I loved every song on it but this one there are just a few that just don't seem to fit. Over all though if you are a Toby fan it's worth adding it to your collection there is far more good songs than so-so ones on here.Free Music Review: Great differentiation

Love this CD. There are numbers that rock (like the title song Big Dog Daddy), but also a few slower ballads, bit of real country and in between. And all with this great voice of Toby Keith. Great to listen to in the car. Worth all the costs of shipping and taxes to get it here in the Netherlands.Free Music Review: The Big Dog does it again!!

This cd seems more traditional TK and I really like it. White Rose, Love Me if You Can, and Get My Drink On are fantastic!!! Big Dog Daddy and High Maintenance Woman are typical TK and keep you singing along. Overall, I like this CD better than the last 2 (great job Show Dog Nashville!!!).Free Music Review: Like it, but Toby's done better!

I love Toby Keith and really like the CD, but feel Toby's had better CD's in the past. Some really great songs, but I don't feel this is Toby's best works for the CD as a whole. He's had better, but it's a good one to have in your collection anyway if you're a Toby Keith fan.
