If I could go back in time I would not buy this album. It didnt move me very much and it was repetitive. The music was better than the lyrics by far. Nothing really connected for me and some of the songs should have ended minutes before (mostly the hip hop songs). I liked Momentum when it came out mostly for the hard rock, the hip hop wasnt very strong though. It took him 4 years to release Diverse City and it was a big step up. I missed the harder rock songs, but the rock songs were good and the hip hop was way better than momentum. In my opinion this cd is his worst. I liked that he brought back some harder songs like Ignition, and Made to Love is good but nothing really to get excited about like on his previous albums. On his previous albums I looked forward to certain tracks, here not so much. I feel as another reviewer said that it seemed like he wanted to meet a deadline and I dont blame him. 4 years between Momentum and Diverse City was brutal for fans. I just wish he would have taken a little more time for this one. I would have waited for another year if it would have made a difference. Not much hip hop on this album compared to Momentum and Diverse City, and they sounded a lot like previous songs on those albums, almost like they were songs that didnt make the cut the first time around but now he took more time to bring them up to speed or fix them. In conclusion I found 3 other decent songs on this album. They, along with Ignition and Made To Love fill up the rest of the space on my newly made TobyMac mixed cd.
