Toby Mac will be the one who will put Christian music on a larger scale. Most of the songs need to be introduced to secular radio for air-play. Why put him in a box? This is my first Toby Mac album, I will definitely buy his previous albums.

At first Tobymac's latest CD seemed too different to be like-able. But as I listened more I grew to love this album. I was also reminded that worship and praise music, in whatever genre or form, is all about it's original intention and nothing else. I hate to be the reviewer who nitpicks small, insignificant details like how loud the guitar was on track X, or how the color of the background vocals could have been warmer in the chorus of track XX. That's stupid. That's not what it's about, and that's not what this album is about. Listen to the lyrics, understand their meaning and significance, and appreciate the CD for that. I will say that it's a great musical album nonetheless. I'm a music major in college so I have to study things like form, harmonic analysis, cadences, motives, themes, etc. etc. This CD is not at all a disappointment, even having extended knowledge of the underlying aspects of music and what makes it work/not work. Tobymac will always have a place in my digital music collection. Free Music Review: Jumpin' Praise!

Every time Toby Mac comes out with a CD, it's better than the last one!! Absolute energy from this one! True Dog is back again and very, very cute! I absolutely love, love, love this CD!!! Songs that getcha movin' and songs that bring you to your knees; a great album!
