Another great outing for, in my opinion, the greatest guitarist on the planet. Chocked full of Tommy's inimitable personality and two discs full of his mind blowing picking and caressing his guitar to purr and growl like no other entertainer I've seen or heard. I've been fortunate enough to see him perform live in a small and intimate venue and this disc brings to mind that vivid experience. If you've never heard him, buy it, if you have, buy it. Tommy E puts out a great live CD with his signature incredible finger style playing. You get some old and new tunes, and hear Tommy's personality come through on this live set. If you have never heard him, check out his other Cds also, but for a overview and a good sounding recording, this collection will give a good impression of what he is about. He is coming to So Cal soon and I hope to see him again. Go see him live, he is phenomenal.

Tommy brings artistry to his work in a way I have never heard before. He has a very fluid flow that seems effortless, but I swear he has 4 hands to accomplish such things on the guitar. Every piece of music on this CD is something else! We can listen to it over and over. A few times I get chills running through my spine as it is so unbelievable! Great collection of the best music you can get in a live acoustic guitar performance. Tommy Emmanuel is an amazing guitar virtuoso and his skills are easily appreciated in this double cd set! His style incorporates elements of country, folk, pop, rock, and traditional music, but it takes these blends to a level that transcends what you would expect in any of them. To date, this is Tommy's finest, richest, and most talented CD yet. His "guitar percussionism" is unbelievable. This man has guitar talent that can not be equalled. If you ever - and I mean EVER - get the chance to see Tommy live in concert, then absolutely go see him! In the meantime, this CD and it's DVD counterpart are without a doubt well-worth the money spent to buy them.
