Free Music Notes for Ultimate Toni BraxtonFree Music Review: good compilation but not complete Hit: 5 StarsI would recommend this cause it has toni braxton's biggest hits of her career from all her records. However, buying this album is no excuse for passing up her albums. I would recommend getting the Heat CD since there are unreleased jams on there that are really worth the money such as the heat, spanish guitar, art of love and so on. And if you want to get into the christmas spirit and want something jazzy, her Snowflakes CD.
Free Music Review: Toni's very best and beyond! Hit: 5 StarsI guess we can say that this collection is a decade of hits, the earliest ones coming from Toni Braxton's 1993 self-titled debut. From Braxton's self-titled debut are ANOTHER SAD LOVE SONG,BREATHE AGAIN and YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO ME. SEVEN LONG DAYS is also from her first album but this collection contains a live, previously unreleased version with a fading-out ending. Too bad Braxton wasn't musically persistent like Mariah Carey. UNBREAK MY HEART from 1996's SECRETS is a beautiful smooth R&B piece, which I once thought Gloria Estefan recorded since Estefan and Braxton sound so much alike. Since this collection contains several new tracks, fans of Braxton's should buy this album. Since the release of SECRETS,Braxton put out two more albums before this one. Braxton's fans will also enjoy the duet she did with ex-Doobie Brother Michael McDonald on McDonald's MOTOWN TWO album. I have a feeling that Braxton will be inducted into the Rock 'n Roll Hall Of Fame in 2018 or maybe later, living or dead. The other songs are awesome. Also, give some credit to Kenneth "Kenny G" Gorelick,Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Antonio "L.A." Reid who all played with Braxton.
Free Music Review: A lot of hits, enjoyable Hit: 5 StarsI really enjoyed this collection. Whereas many times with an artists "Greatest" package some of the good songs are left off but that is not the case with "Ultimate Toni Braxton." You forget that Toni had so many hits, but she did. The set does include several previously unreleased tracks and the live version of "Seven Hole Days." This live version is great. I personally love some of her later stuff, especially, "He Wasn't Man Enough." The set also includes "Hit The Freeway," from her last CD that didn't do so hot. I can't wait for Toni's new CD which is due soon.
Free Music Review: Pretty accurate collection Hit: 4 StarsI saw this collection in the store this morning, and I decided to check it out. Although in my opinion Toni Braxton's first two albums were great and her last two albums were crap, this is still a nice collection of her work.
There are classics from her first album like "Breathe Again", the live version of "Seven Whole Days", and her duet with Babyface, "Give U My Heart". From there it's on to tracks like "You're Makin' Me High", "I Don't Want To", and "Just Be a Man About It". There are also two unreleased songs: "Whatchu Need" and "Little Things".
Unlike other reviewers, I'm not mad that "Spanish Guitar" isn't on here because I think that song is dumb. But I think it's obvious that "Hit the Freeway" is on here only because La Face Records wanted to ensure that there was at least one song from every proper album that Toni did. Anyway, if you're feeling nostalagic about Toni Braxton, then pick this collection up.

Free Music Review: She sounds like a man! Hit: 1 StarsToni Braxton is in my opinion the black equivelant of Cher, except not as many gay fans. My mom and sister both love Toni Braxton but I seriously dont see why. She is suited to a gay lounge at best. Un-Break My Heart was totally played out and so was Youre Makin Me High, He Wasnt Man Enough and Breathe Again. The rest really arent hits, just fillers. I am a Neptunes fan so I enjoyed the beats of Hit The Freeway, but the mannish vocals ruined it. There is a reason why Tonis albums are flopping lately: no one wants to hear from her no more. She cant sing... and she looks like a drag queen.
