Every vocal jazz lover must at least listen to this CD.
I began to appriciate and understand Tony better after watching the DVD, the story behind the making of "Duets: An American Classic". Anyone who are new to Tony should take a chance and just let yourself drawn to the song. Although I don't recognize half of the duets, but its still enjoyable.

This is a fantastic CD, and is bound to be a best seller. I think all the duets are great..These people know how to make music sing...and sing they do !!! Tony at 80 is still one of my favorite entertainers, and he has chosen some of the great singers of today to sing along with him !! I loved every single track on this album! His voice blends so well with the other artists, and it seemed as though he was having fun with it. My favorite track is the one with Barbra Streisand. It was great hearing the tracks by Stevie Wonder, Elton John, and k.d.Lang. I'm going to put this on my MP3 player so I can listen over and over!Free Music Review: "I was dreaming to come to America"

I have been a Tony Bennett fan for a long time, but this makes me a bigger fan. I LOVE THIS CD! I keep it in my car and play it all the time. Every song is wonderful, and the singers that Tony "duets" with are all great. I think the fact that he sings with all different types of singers makes it even better. I highly recommend it!!!
