Tony, Toni, Tone was one of my favorite R & B groups. This album along with the very last one they did (House Of Music) was among the best they did together.
The standout track was Anniversary without a doubt. Its one of those tracks that's as powerful today as it was in 1993 when it was made! Translation....it is timeless!
The rest of the tracks range from okay (Tony, Toni, Tone) to good (My Ex-Girlfriend, Slow Wine) to excellent (If I Had No Loot) to timeless (Anniversary, Lay Your Head On My Pillow). In my view, no song on here is below a 3 star rating!
Its also one of those albums I sincerely wished had an instrumental version because the music behind these songs is great too! I could bob my head to these pieces without the lyrics!
Anyway, its a great piece of R & B to own.

I have been a fan of Tony Toni Tone since day one and I love all of their music but I'm going to classify this CD as my favorite Tony Toni Tone CD. I had bought the tape a long time ago when it first came out but I lost it so I recently purchased the CD. This CD takes me on a wonderful journey and the songs are brilliantly written and fun. One of my favorite songs on this CD is "Anniversary" because Raphael's voice sweeps me into the song with him and its as if he's singing it to me. Its beautiful and sweet. Its one of those timeless songs that still gets played to this day on special occasions. Another one of my favorite jams is "Slow Wine". It really sets the mood for just slow dancing with that special person. All of the uptempo songs makes me want to get up and dance! I really dig the carribean beats throughout the CD. I listen to this CD almost every morning before I go to work because it just gives that get up and go that I need. I feel that anyone who is a true fan of R& B, especially a Tony Toni Tone fan, should have this CD in their collection. This CD is truly 5 stars to me. This the Tony's tour-de-force. Nothing but the butter on this joint. One of the first neo soul records. Great Fusion of 60's and 70's soul and funk. Rafael Saadiq was on point with this one. Dwayne did good on Slow Wine.
