Free Music Review: A Decent, If Uninspired, Release

'You Nasty' is not a surprising album from Too $hort. In terms of his post-retirement albums, this one would land somewhere in the middle in terms of quality.
Lyrically, it contains the same lyrics about pimpin' that you've come to expect from Too $hort by now. The only thing is, his rhymes on here are rather mediocre, and this release will sound repetitive if you've heard a few of his prior releases.
Fortunately, his flow on tracks like 'You Nasty', 'She Know', and 'Nation Riders Anthem' are on point. The beats are above average for the most part as well. Unfortunately, due to the tired lyrics, 'You Nasty' is a standard Too $hort release that will mostly appeal only to his hardcore fan base.
