Free Music Notes for Top Gun Soundtrack

Free Music Review: Classic Soundtrack
Hit: 4 Stars

This soundtrack is a mix. My favorite songs are some of the prototype 80's tracks: Danger Zone, Mighty Wings, & Through the Fire. But it also has some great oldies like Dock of the Bay & Great Balls of Fire. If you haven't seen this movie yet then go out and rent it. Then pick up a copy of the soundtrack.

Free Music Review: Stuff I could listen to all day.
Hit: 5 Stars

I've seen the movie, loved it, and then after that I listened to the soundtrack, and loved it. The music is just the kind of stuff you could listen to all day. Some of my favorite songs (Danger Zone by Kenny Logins, Take My Breath Away by Berlin, You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling by The Righteous Brothers, and Great Balls Of Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis) come from this soundtrack. Two thumbs up.

Free Music Review: Great CD -takes me back
Hit: 5 Stars

Man, I am a teenager again! This CD takes me back to my teen years I loved the movie and the songs in it! Now they have brought the CD back with all the other great songs that wasn't in the original release. Great Balls of Fire and She lost that loving feeling and Sitting on the Dock of the Bay. :-) Love it.

Free Music Review: "I feel the need....the need for speed".
Hit: 3 Stars

I wouldn't call this the ultimate 80's soundtrack like some do, I even like "Footloose" more, and there's too much filler here. But there's no doubt it was huge, and has alot of 80's anthems. Obviously "Danger Zone" was the song for many a maverick, though I like the almost-gay "Playing With The Boys" as much. "Take My Breath Away" was a massive hit for Berlin, even though they were more of a new-wave band really. There's also the minor hit "Heaven In Your Eyes" from Loverboy. I'll admit the bonus tracks here are a huge bonus, because a few of the added songs are much better than some of what was here before. Truth be known, unless Tom Cruise is your favorite guy ever, or you're Air-Force bound, I'd get the best of Kenny Loggins or Berlin first. That's just me.
