I do not have a particular liking for 80's rock nor am I a fan of the original motion picture. So with those two facts in mind, I think it's safe to say that I have an unbiased opinion compltely untainted by mainstream hype. The Top Gun Soundtrack is completly worthy of the flawless 5 star rating. It doesn't matter which genre of music you enjoy, the tracks on this anthology translate into every genre is one way or another. I bought this album at a whim when I saw it on sale for 10$ at Best Buy and boy did I get my moneys worth.Free Music Review: Great Stuff

This soundtrack has lost nothing. The first time I saw "Top Gun" I must have been four or five. It still, in my opinion, is one of the greatest movies ever made and the soundtrack is no different. It still rocks and so do the new tracks (save the Kenny Loggins Remix). "Memories is almos perfect for flashback-scenes into your memory if you close your eyes and think about what's happened in your life. Man, this is still one soundtrack that makes you feel "The need for speed!"Free Music Review: Top Gun is "tops" with me!

After watching Top Gun a couple of times, I decided it might be a good idea to get the soundtrack too. So that's what I did. So far, I've really enjoyed it. My absolute favorite song is "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins. If you ask me, I think that the soundtrack is just as good as the movie. When I listen to the music, it makes me feel like I am in the movie. I guarantee that if you buy this CD, you will enjoy it.Free Music Review: Great Soundtrack.

This is a great soundrack to a phenominal successful film Top Gun. It features the hits "Danger Zone" and the number one hit "Take My Breath Away" by Berlin. This newly released album featuring five extra tracks is well worth it. Originally released in 1986 this album sold 9 million copies and is much better than Dirty Dancing Soundtrack. I recommend this soundtrack to anyone who likes '80s movies or songs.Free Music Review: Unbéle

This is a high quality soundtrack to say the least. If you're a fan of 80s music, by all means buy this album. You know a great album when every single song is good. All of the tracks are good and none need to be skipped. I always keep this CD in reach when driving, it's probably one of my top three favorite albums. So if you like 80s music, or like to get nostalgic about the 80s and/or Top Gun, this is the CD for you.
