Although not well-known and not a big seller, this album may be the band's best and is maybe my own personal favorite. When I first heard "Gypsy Train" I thought that this was another band calling themselves Toto. It's that much different sounding from anything they had ever done. "Don't Chain My Heart", "Never Enough", "The Other Side" "Kick Down the Walls" and the title song are all grade A material. Don't hesitate to get this album. At first, I was shocked, when I heard this cd, but along the way I started to like this cd more and more, now it is one of my favourit Toto albums. First of all because this was totally diferent to what we were used to. Second, this was Jeff Porcaro's last album, he will always be the groove master. Third, On this Album, Steve Lukather really gets everything out of his musical closet. On this album, they showed us again, that these guys are the most talented musicians of their times.Free Music Review: only one problem with this CD...

Is that so few will ever hear it. I picked this up on a whim almost a decade ago, and was shocked. This is a dark, addicting TOTO album. One reviewer noted a few of the great songs -- not one bad one here - but the real high note is the title track. Who would have thought that the same guys who wrote "Pamela" would have "Kingdom of Desire" in their blood.This may be the most underrated rock CD ever.

Cet album trouve un nouveau chanteur en la personne de Steve Lukather, et sera malheureusement le dernier auquel participera Jeff Porcaro.Celui-ci décédera un mois avant sa sortie. L'album lui sera entièrement dédié.
Les illustration présentes sur la pochette de l'album sont de Jeff.
L'album est teinté de rythmes différents et variés comme l'instrumental "Jake to The Bone, premier morceau de jazz-fusion.
Best : The Other Side, Don't Chain My Heart, 2 Hearts, Kingdom of Desire.
