It's hard to find fault with anything about this recording. The playing is brilliant, the sound quality is exceptional and the music is sublime. It's like Debussy transplanted to Africa and played on indigenous harps with healthy doses of inventive soloing. I listened to the first 4 recordings but found the first one to be the very best. The sound was excellent and the rhythm was upbeat and together. I found in the other 3 that they were not coming together. Toumany has done it again. this time, he collaborated with someone who produces the softest sound from the cora, Djeli Moussa Ballake Sissoko. The Album is more than great. It vibrates your heart, it make your flesh creeps, it makes you love music. Bravo Toumany and Ballake.
