this game will teach you the proper way to play no limit texas hold'em. i have read other reviews where people say that this game is not accurate b/c the computer players dont check raise, re raise, etc. totally inaccurate, i have the game on the medium difficulty level and before playing the game, i considered myself to be a decent player...not anymore. i get bluffed, check-raised, re-raised..etc. each computer player has unique characteristics...some players are bad and some are the second coming of doyle brunson. it you are new to the game, want to improve your skills or just want to have some fun...pick this game up.Free Music Review: "That was the first REAL poker game I've ever played!"

"That was the first REAL poker game I've ever played!" was the quote of the night from the first home Texas Holdem Poker tournament I've ever hosted. The night was a complete success. 17 People showed up making it a two table tournament. "This was fantastic, I really had a great time" was a response from another player, and seemed to be the general feeling.The Donohoe Digital No Limit Texas Hold'em software was key to keeping the timeclock, prizepool and used by everyone to keep track of the blinds. Just follow the hosting tips in the game HELP, and you too can have the same results.

This program sure beats playing in the play money rooms online. I always finish in the top 3 at party poker online. Imagine my shock when I lost on the beginning level. Ive been playin for about a year and have read tons of books. I read a previous reviewers thread where he states he beat this program the first time he played and it was on the highest level. Liar Liar pants on Fire!!! The opponents in this program become better and better as you get to the last table. The last 5 or 6 opponents are extemely good. This is an excellent holdem game - it is really the only one that simulates what real tournaments are like - from the blinds, to the chip races, to allowing you to customize tournaments to your liking. Unlike hoyle or pokerstars, it has a strong AI. Other people have commented on how hard it is to hit a straight or flush, but that is real poker. The odds are that 9 other players you play against will get better cards more often than just you. Plus, version 2 is coming out soon and that promises to have online play and more! I've been playing poker for quite a while now and until now, I really haven't found a decent enough game to play on my own. This game is awesome! You have so many options for playing and can speed up games that would normally get dragged out by slow computer play. With tournament play, small tournaments, friendly games and even a heads-up poker option, you can hone in your skills for all types of game-play. My gf and I love this game and has improved our skills a great deal. Recommended!
