This Bay Area band will funk you up. The legendary Tower of Power horns will "Funkifize" your whole existence. They fly and grind "old school." What great memories this CD brought back... (for me -- growing up in San Francisco.) The 70s' era is full of music -- good and bad -- but this CD has a classic groove that one MUST experience to really understand what the 70's were all about. From the Funk classics "Down To The Nightclub" & "What Is Hip" -- that will have you moving and grooving... to "You're Still A Young Man" which will have you wishing for that old high school flame...and a slow dance that would last forever. My very first 8-track was from Tower of Power ... but I suggest you buy the CD version! Very cool tunes~
