Free Music Notes for Comin' on StrongFree Music Review: Trace Adkins Does It Again Hit: 5 StarsThere isn't one thing I can say bad about this recent CD from Trace Adkins. It is one of his better Cd's in my opinion. The songs on it show a wide range of emotions and his voice sounds so great. I bought it right off the rack almost when it came out and I leave it in my CD player all the time. I love his HOt Mama song and get goosebumps when he says "do you wanna?" That grin he gives, melts me away. I recommend this CD to anyone even if they haven't heard Trace before. I can promise them that they will be buying his other Cd's after getting this one.
Free Music Review: One hot CD! Hit: 5 StarsOk I have always loved Trace Adkins (hello...he is so gorgeous, I could just sit and watch him breathe!!!!!) but I've never really felt motivated enough to buy one of his CDs...that is until "Hot Mama" came out on the radio. They don't play it nearly enough so I decided to get the CD! It's about time somebody wrote a song like that for the rest of us...that is, those of us who aren't 20 something anymore, size 4, pierced everywhere, like some of the other current songs seem to be for...and nobody could ever sing it like Trace does!! The rest of the CD is pretty good too.
Free Music Review: the best there is Hit: 5 StarsAnything bt Trace Adkins is good but he takes it and music to new level. His music seems to get better and better. He is the man in country music
Free Music Review: Comes on Strong! Hit: 5 StarsComin' on Strong Trace AdkinsWhat a fantastic CD! It deals with more mature subjects with style. Hot Mama relates to the more-than-20, "settled" crowd, to remind us life isn't over because the kids come along. Untamed is a paradox of melody and lyric...a slow moving melody about being wild and untamed - that works beautifully. One Nightstand is a play on words that is at once bereft and heart-wrenching, and at the end, hopeful. I'd Sure Hate to Break Down Here is another play on words, this time about a guy with a broken down relationship and a brokendown car, but not brokendown determination. Then Came the Night paints a vivid, reminiscent picture, a cross between flashback and daydream. The whole CD seems truly heartfelt and real. It was worth the wait.
Free Music Review: Trace is poised to make some noise in 2004 Hit: 5 StarsTrace's newest CD "Comin' On Strong" has everything. It is steamy, hot, romantic, upbeat. I play it every day, 20 times a day and can't wait for his next video. This CD tells so much about him and his life on the oil rigs in "Missing You", the heartbreak in "One Nightstand" and of course the steamy "Then Came the Night" and "One of those Nights". I LOVE them all.
