Free Music Notes for Dangerous Man

Free Music Review: Great Album
Hit: 4 Stars

Its hard for me to find albums I enjoy all the way and this one fell just a little short. Never the less I really enjoyed the majority of the songs.

Free Music Review: Dangerously cool
Hit: 5 Stars

Trace Adkin's singles "Songs About Me" and "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" got me started in liking Trace. This entire album is a broad representation of what country music should be: a little rockin! The title track "Dangerous Man" has that rocking attitude that should be in a lot of modern day country music. He also received his first number one sense "This Ain't No Thinking Thing" with the song "Ladies Love Country Boys." The song "Swing" has a bit ackward lyrics, but the vocals and the instruments in the song just makes any truck driver want to speed. "I Wanna Feel Something" is a heartfelt track with a loving melody. And another speedy song that truck drivers need to hear is the bazooka "Ride" which takes life by the windsheild and let's you watch it hit in front of you. The dance remake for the monster hit "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" is also included on this magnificent record. You don't have to be a hard-core country music fan to appreciate the deep and manly sound of Trace Adkins. If his next album wasn't a greatest hits with songs I've already got, I would have totally bought it. I'm looking forward to the next new record for Trace because his music is just themoninal!

Free Music Review: Trace is music's Manliest talent!
Hit: 5 Stars

God Bless Trace Adkins!
His is a one-of-a-kind talent. The total package.
The common man with an uncommon ability to convey the truth with his voice and his choice of music to showcase it. This is a real man who lives a real life. So relateable.
Looking forward to his new December '07 release and his forthcoming book.
"Dangerous Man" continues to entertain with a pleasing array of songs. This voice makes me weak and winds me up all at the same time. Trace also happens to be one of the hottest men I have ever seen. My nickname for him is "the big hunk of yummy!" He is just two weeks younger than me, so I can really relate to his life experience, maturity and passion. Don't cheat yourself by not completing your Trace Adkins catalogue with all of his CD's and video DVD's. In some ways, I think he is still one of the great artistic secrets of this era. Like the fabulous Julie Roberts, you sometimes have to seek him out to find Trace on the radio. They are both well worth the wait. Suggestion for Trace...if you are looking to do a duet, get with Julie. That would be an amazing combination!

Free Music Review: First country CD I ever purchased
Hit: 3 Stars

I must admit - I don't really like country music, I never have. I understand from friends who do that today's country music isn't really all that country anymore. Maybe that's why I have started to like what I hear...

I bought this CD on the strength of one song and it is decidedly the least country sounding of them all. "I Wanna Feel Something" is just good songwriting and Trace does an excellent job making me feel the emotion behind the lyrics. I guess the song strikes a chord with me because I am getting to the age when most men start to question what they've become and sort of evaluate what's important. Great song, and well done!

The CD sounds great sonically and I find I really like the harder, rockier numbers like Dangerous Man. The lyrics on some of the songs are too macho for me but I tend to think it is done with his tongue planted firmly in his cheek. Face it "Swing" and "Fightin Words" are pretty weak. In contrast the "Stubborn One" and "I Came Here to Live" are really heartfelt and touching.

All in all I am not disappointed that I shelled out 13.99.

Free Music Review: How can I rate it with no stars?
Hit: 1 Stars

Good thing I download music for free or I would really be angry. I mean "swing" where did he get the lyrics for that, a bazooka joe gum wrapper, oh wait I don't even think he writes most of his songs, he just picks em up from out of the trash. He is a prime example of whats wrong with country music nowadays. There should be another genre of music for him and all these other people like rascal flatts and toby keith and big and rich called country pop. I keep telling people that if you wanna hear real country music then listen to any country songs from the 60's-the early early 90's and it will blow your mind how music should sound, the birds will chirp, the flowers will bloom, you'll feel nirvana as Conway Twitty and Keith Whitley sing they're hearts out. I know a lot of people up north don't get Texas Type of country music on your radio, so you'll have to look hard for it, but don't be scared, stay strong and you'll see that there's life beyond badonka donk, and swing, for Christ sake.
