Free Music Notes for Dangerous Man

Free Music Review: Trace Plays to His Strengths
Hit: 5 Stars

Trace Adkins' gifts are his incredible voice and his dynamic performance skills. Recently, I saw him perform four of the cuts from Dangerous Man live in concert. The audience was whipped to a frenzy by the time he did "Ladies Love Country Boys." I've never seen a crowd respond to new music like that! NEVER!

So I had great expectations for the Dangerous Man CD; Trace exceeded them by a MILE! There are plenty of butt-kickin beats and bad-boy country fun songs that will have you movin and groovin. "Ride", "Southern Hallelujah", and the title cut, "Dangerous Man" will have you on your feet, waving your hands in the air, and gaining you strange looks in traffic.

Equally, there are songs like "I Came Here To Live", "The Stubborn One" and "High" which are masterfully soul-movin. Trace Adkins has the BEST Vocal Range in country music, and he works every note of it in this diverse collection. He also gives very convincing, passionate vocal performances throughout this disc.

It's hard to pick a favorite. I honestly like every song on this CD. "Ain't No Woman Like You" is one that I keep hearing over and over..."Ain't no ride like a '65 Mustang...I ain't been around the world, but I've been around the block. Don't claim to know it all, I just know what I've got. Something I never had and Ain't gonna lose...NO there ain't no woman like you."
This is a full-blown R&B take-your-baby-dirty-dancin tune complete with saxophones and trombones.

Playing to his strengths; varied songs which roll with Trace's expansive range, and passionately delivered vocals performances, Dangerous Man is an Outstanding CD.
I have all seven of Trace Atkins' CDs; this one is the BEST!

Free Music Review: Hello CMT Awards..it's time for Trace
Hit: 5 Stars

Album after Album, from heartfelt ballads like "Words Get In The Way" to edgey sexual tension filled songs like "Aint' No Woman Like You"..this album has it all.

I got to see Trace last night in concert here in Phoenix and the man sings his music with as more conviction than showmanship. Unlike upcoming stars and so-called country ryalty who we paid double the ticket price for only to be disappointed...sorely!

His honky-tonk roots came through and it is just as much apparent live as on this album. The comments around me were that this artist is for the working man because that is where Trace's roots are..a hard workin' man with a real story to tell.

He is consistant, and I am shocked that CMT does not take more of a look at Trace than they do. He is not another Tim MCGraw, Kenny Chesney or George Straight. This album is evidence that he loves what he does and that is what many love him for.

This CD is a definite asset to your collection. GO OUT & BUY IT!! You might also find his other music and love it just as much!! Especially if you are as tired of kenny, TIm and George as I am!

Happy Listeneing!

Free Music Review: Dangerously cool
Hit: 5 Stars

Trace Adkin's singles "Songs About Me" and "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" got me started in liking Trace. This entire album is a broad representation of what country music should be: a little rockin! The title track "Dangerous Man" has that rocking attitude that should be in a lot of modern day country music. He also received his first number one sense "This Ain't No Thinking Thing" with the song "Ladies Love Country Boys." The song "Swing" has a bit ackward lyrics, but the vocals and the instruments in the song just makes any truck driver want to speed. "I Wanna Feel Something" is a heartfelt track with a loving melody. And another speedy song that truck drivers need to hear is the bazooka "Ride" which takes life by the windsheild and let's you watch it hit in front of you. The dance remake for the monster hit "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" is also included on this magnificent record. You don't have to be a hard-core country music fan to appreciate the deep and manly sound of Trace Adkins. If his next album wasn't a greatest hits with songs I've already got, I would have totally bought it. I'm looking forward to the next new record for Trace because his music is just themoninal!

Free Music Review: Trace is music's Manliest talent!
Hit: 5 Stars

God Bless Trace Adkins!
His is a one-of-a-kind talent. The total package.
The common man with an uncommon ability to convey the truth with his voice and his choice of music to showcase it. This is a real man who lives a real life. So relateable.
Looking forward to his new December '07 release and his forthcoming book.
"Dangerous Man" continues to entertain with a pleasing array of songs. This voice makes me weak and winds me up all at the same time. Trace also happens to be one of the hottest men I have ever seen. My nickname for him is "the big hunk of yummy!" He is just two weeks younger than me, so I can really relate to his life experience, maturity and passion. Don't cheat yourself by not completing your Trace Adkins catalogue with all of his CD's and video DVD's. In some ways, I think he is still one of the great artistic secrets of this era. Like the fabulous Julie Roberts, you sometimes have to seek him out to find Trace on the radio. They are both well worth the wait. Suggestion for Trace...if you are looking to do a duet, get with Julie. That would be an amazing combination!

Free Music Review: Knock Your Socks off GOOOOODDDD
Hit: 5 Stars

This is the BEST CD I have ever heard. Starting with DANGEROUS MAN - it just draws you in and you have to hear the rest of the songs. LADIES LOVE COUNTRY BOYS is fabulous. It is such a real life song. Then the song - I CAME HERE TO LIVE just tears at your heart...And of course SWING is just a really fun song. I could go on and on about all the songs - RIDE is a great driving song- THE STUBBORN ONE could be anyones grandfather. FIGHTIN' WORDS - Love the whole song but I really like the ending. I WANNA FEEL SOMETHING is another real to life song that gives you something to think about. And HIGH - seems to me to be a song to the FANS!! This is an extra special album - IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!
