Trace Akins' new album X (ten) dose not disappoint!! My faorite tracks are ill te Last Shot's Fired, Sometimes a Man Takes a Drink, Sweet and Muddy Water. I saw Trace in Concert last month before ths CD was released and he did Muddy Water with a local church choir singing background . . . it was quite a moving prformance!!
Dangerous Man s still my favorite Trace Adkins Album, but this album is certainly one of his finest!!

This is a fantastic CD that any Country music fan should throughly enjoy. From the up tempo songs like Sweet and Hillibilly Rich to the sweet ballads like Til the Last Shot's Fired and I Can't Outrun you, each song hits the mark. The piano melody on I Can't Outrun You can run chills up your spine. You listen to 11 great songs and then you get to hear Muddy Water. This tenth album of Trace's named X great title is his very best. I am a hugh fan seen him many times read his book and feel that on this album he touches alot of different types of music. It shows how after 10 years he just gets better and this shows off his voice as well.It is a real treat every song is different in it's style which for me adds to why I think this is his best yet. I just purchased this CD today and listened to it in its entirety. Trace continues to impress and I think this is his best yet. So many touching ballads on this CD and songs that moved me to tears. His big, deep voice touches your heart and soul and he knows how to deliver a lyric in a big way. One of the most consistent country performers out there today, Trace Adkins just keeps delivering great music. There isn't a song on this CD I don't like, even though they range from ballads (I Can't Outrun You), to gospel (Muddy Waters), to humorous (Hillybilly Rich, Sweet), to ole time country (Sometimes a Man Takes a Drink). Worth every penny.
